First stage is to become open and draw the colseted to our ranks. Second stage is to create a schism between liberal Xians and the fundies. Currently, libs are enemies who provide cover and recruiting grounds for the fundies. Once we are more powerful, the libs will try to be more like us and abandon the fundies. At this point, our enlarged secularist minority and our co-opted liberal Christians will be able to apply social sanctions to silence the fundies. As we gain power we can make being a fundie a mental illness, and in time criminalize them.

I do not think we should go so far as to criminalize being a fundie. It is enough to gain such power that we could if we wanted to. We are better than them. We will refrain from beating, burning, and killing them the way they did to us,
