1and1 Sucks Donkey Balls

(Image from Mad PPC, who says “1and1 Blows Donkey Balls.”)
You may have noticed that the site was down for almost two days. You can thank the incompetent morons at 1and1 Internet for this abysmally sucky service.
I have signed up with a new host and will be moving the site this weekend.
Remember 1and1 Internet for none of your web hosting needs!

I’ve always had great service and pretty decent support with http://www.vpsland.com. They aren’t lightning fast or anything, but for $29/mo for a virtual server, what do you expect? However, I’ve never been down more than an 8 hour stretch and the time I was, I got a small refund as per their SLA.
I probably only need to contact support once per year to do some sort of reboot because my management console crashed and I can’t reboot on my own.
Not perfect, but sounds a heck of a lot better than 1and1!

I don’t have any beef with 1and1′s web hosting. However, I curse the day I ever listed any domains with them. Check out Red Flag for some customer comments.
It should be a warning that when their phone is answered by a recording that tells you if you have gotten a notice from NCO, a collection agency, to press a certain number. If they are a reputable business, why do they have to send so many accounts to a collection agency?
The Eastern Pennsylvania /Washington DC Better Business Bureau have given 1and1 an “unsatisfactory” rating. An investigative journalist, Kelli Jack has written a series of articles about them and has a pending law suit. She says: “1and1 Should Be Shut Down.”

You said the same thing the last time I posted about 1and1. In fact, you say the exact same thing on every blog post in the world that mentions 1and1. You must have a lot of free time.
I find it interesting that the URL you post with your comment doesn’t resolve to anything, yet somehow you find it very important to always include that. I deleted your URL to save my readers the frustration of clicking on it and having it go nowhere.

I used to have 2 nice web sites but they are now cancelled along with 730 domain names. I take the time to try and save others from my horrible experience.

730 domain names? Are you a cybersquatter?

I agree, dont go to 1and1 Internet for any of your web needs. Their prices may seem enticing, but you get NO customer service, absolutely NO customer service!! Pay a little more for what you deserve to get!
