The Meaning of Life

They'd better give me an atheist funeral

I haven’t posted much in these last few weeks, because I haven’t been in the mood. Recent events have reminded me of what’s important in life.

It isn’t how much power or money you have. It isn’t how many gadgets. It isn’t how fast your car or your computer is. It isn’t even how much knowledge you’ve acquired.

The only thing that ultimately matters—the only thing that really makes us happy—is the people in our lives.

Make time for them, because you don’t know how much time you have.

It’s good to see you back. Wish you the best (though unlike my father, I won’t give the addendum “I’ll Pray For You.”).

I hope things get better for you soon.
