Carnival of the Godless #74, Pulp Edition!

Carnival of the Godless #74 is up over at Atheist FAQ. This week it’s the pulp edition! By a weird coincidence (or is it a weird menace coincidence?), I’ve actually written a pulp article, which I’m planning to post this Tuesday. If I had known, I would have posted it in time for this week’s CotG.
There are a lot of articles in this week’s carnival, but two of them especially caught my attention. Over at The Primate Diaries, Eric Michael Johnson explores what is going on in the brain when people have godly experiences.
The other article is over at A Pixelated Mind, and it makes a good case for a new word: itheist.

I was kicking around that idea for months before I finally put it down into words. I’m glad I did. I’m hoping that, if this idea doesn’t take off, at least it will lessen this debate over the religion (or non-religion) of children. Frankly, I shudder every time I hear it. It’s the kind of argument where even if you win, you lose.
