Virtually everyone takes out a loan at some point in their life, whether for a vehicle, a home or for business. It stands to reason that services that everyone needs should be socialized in order to mitigate risk and guarantee fair terms. We do this with law enforcement, education and transportation, so why not do it with banking? The loaning of money to individuals has become a social institution.
