Years ago, I worked with a woman whose daughter had become hardcore Christian, and when the daughter went, "O NOES, HARRY POTTER = SATAN" the woman said, "So, you've read it, then? You can back that statement up?" The daughter looked quite taken aback and went, "…No?" Once she'd read them, she wound up revising her opinion, but if her mother hadn't said that she'd just have gone on being an ignorant, hateful fool.
