A Google Search gone bad brought me to this thread. Thought the uninformed might want to know that modern physiologist believer the human mammaries are designed to mimic the look of the female buttocks. Therefore, they are in fact, erotic by nature. It’s yet another call to procreate! (Yes, fellow Christians, our wild, uncivilized ancestors were called to a copulatory position other than missionary. Get over it!)

BTW, as a card-carrying Christian, and I’m quite certain that no one is going to hell over seeing bare breast. They will NOT jump out and pervert the world. The world is plenty perverse without being concerned breasts are taking over! Ha!

Breasts are indeed sexual.

Evolutionarily the female human breast, which is a subcutaneous layer of fat, likely arose as humans went from knuckle walkers to standing completely upright. The cleveage of the breast resembled buttocks and began to fulfill that provacative role.

On the opposite side, sexualization of the breast has a strong culutural component. For example I notice Canadian television showed the wardrobe malfuntion unedited. And as pointed out in previous replies Europe has no issues with it. Maybe we should rename bikini tops breast burqas?

Christianity absolutely depends on its followers being miserable, guilt-ridden and afraid. Boobs are one of life’s joys, whether you’re looking at them or playing with them. They provide nourishment to babies and happiness to adults. This cannot possibly mesh with Christianity’s dark outlook on the world, in which all things from which we derive pleasure must be a tool of the devil.

To the normal Christian, they aren’t just afraid of the photo at the top of this page, they’re convinced people like us will take one look at those boobies and lose what little control we already possess over our libidos and start humping every living thing in sight. Whether its sex, evolution, or atheism, these people just don’t understand anything.

On the other side were European people who I was corresponding with over the internet.
