I agree about the problems with copyright laws. They are pretty much just laws drafted for Disney. If it wasn’t unconstitutional, I’d actually prefer that Disney’s intellectual property itself just be codified into law to help save all the copyright collateral damage that comes with extending all copyrights owned by undying corporations (who are people too now, apparently) to eleventy thousand years after their creation date. It’s absolutely retarded.

So Jim – out of curiosity, what copyrighted items are you trying to save?

Many, including me, spit when Bono’s name is mentioned. His efforts to extend copyright have caused severe problems for people trying to archive old computer software and books (and a lot more) before they are lost forever. Another Republican working for his corporate $pon$ors, NOT the people who elected him.
